The portal collects automatically information contained in “cookies”.

COLLECTION OF IP ADDRESSES

Carmas Rent a Car may collect Users’ IP addresses. The IP address is the number assigned to the user’s end device entering the Portal by the ISP to enable access to the Internet. In a large part of cases, the IP address is assigned to the end device of the User dynamically, i.e. the address may change with each launch of the modem or computer and is not assigned to this device permanently.

The User may also have a fixed IP address assigned by the ISP, which allows for accurate identification of the User using the Portal. The IP address may be used by the Company to identify technical problems related to communication with the Portal server, create statistical analyzes (eg concerning the geographical location of Users using the Portal), as well as to develop and improve the functionality of the Portal, as well as for security purposes and possible identification of Users violating the rights of third parties or using external programs that burden the IT infrastructure of the Portal.

Users using the Portal remain anonymous until they decide otherwise. The information contained in the system logs (eg IP address) resulting from the general rules of connections made on the Internet is used by the Administrator for technical purposes related to the administration of servers. In addition, IP addresses are used to collect general, statistical demographic information (eg about the region from which the connection takes place).

The collection of the IP address does not require the identification of the person to whom the IP address belongs by Carmas Sp. z o.o.. The administrator is not obliged to save, obtain or process additional information in order to identify the person to whom the IP address is assigned. Please be advised that based on the IP address itself, we are unable to identify you and obtain your other personal data, except when you registered in the Portal and provided your other data.

CHANGE OF PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy may change, about which Carmas Sp. z o.o. will inform Users in advance of 14 days. In order to continue using the Portal by the User, it is necessary to accept the new privacy policy.

This privacy policy shall enter into force on 10/09/2018.

The above privacy policy is in line with REGULATION OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC ( general data protection regulation).
